He is also an elected president of the “Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan”. He obtained the degree of MA (Political Science) in 1970 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is also a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and remained Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during last four tenures of Assembly. He served as Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment. He also served as Chairman, Punjab Land Development Company and successfully launched Ashyana Housing Scheme. He is a great Philanthropist as well and has contributed a lot for the betterment of the society and has generated millions of jobs in the market.

He has successfully developed JVs in Afghanistan and Philippines. He has developed himself into a renowned name in the Pharma industry and helped people around him to grow as well.

He has developed robust associations with key authorities in all main institutions in Tender business all institutions of Pakistan including CPMC, DGDP, MCC KPK, PPHI, DHS Punjab and Sindh, all public sector hospitals of Punjab and Sindh etc.
